Graduation Year: 1976 What is your favorite memory from Huntsville High?: Winning the Bellamy Award and having all those people come to our school and putting in the time capsule. Trip to Washington D.C., graduation, and all the friends I went to school with all my life.

Graduation Year: 1967 What is your favorite memory from Huntsville High?: I have many memories, so it is hard to pick one. I was basically a nerd, not very socialized and wanted to be accepted. I was behind the scenes for the play that Steve Bonnist and others did, taking pictures, etc.
I am still a nerd, but happy about who I am today.
I played clarinet in the band, and liked marching and our football games. I went to Atlanta on a bus for military draft evaluation for the Viet Nam War after we graduated. I sat next to Phil Chaffin, the running back for Lee High School, our rival. I was lucky and got a high draft number in the lottery. My brother was not so lucky.
A great friend of mine was Mike Canterbury. People like Marilyn Bates and Donna Denton and many others were among those that I admired. I have no idea where most of us are today, and who is still alive and well. I am 58 and not so well but still working hard and happy with my life, despite several sadnesses.
